Key Contributions to Indigenous Social and Emotional Wellbeing:
Leadership, Advocacy, and Media Engagement

  • Chaired the Fifth Annual National Indigenous Social and Emotional Wellbeing Forum in Darwin, 2022, where I delivered a keynote speech and conducted a workshop on suicide prevention.

  • Invited as a Guest Speaker by Hon Linda Burney MP at the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) conference in Canberra, 2022, where I shared insights on military service, authorship, and entrepreneurship as a First Nations woman.

  • Delivered the Keynote Address at the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) South Queensland Regional and SEWB Cairns Forums in 2021.

  • Acted as a Key Liaison between the community and the Australian Defence Force (ADF), facilitating introductions between the Ambassador for Indigenous Affairs, Justin Mohamed, and Indigenous soldiers, as well as introducing Senator Dorinda Cox from the Parliament of Western Australia to Indigenous soldiers.

  • Invited by Mala’la Health Service Aboriginal Corporation to share my journey in the ADF and Public Service as a Guest Speaker at Dhukurrdji Lodge in Maningrida.

  • Developed a Strong Media Profile, participating in various media outlets including talk shows on PRWire, The Power To Persuade Blog, Triple M Radio, River 94.9 FM, and The North West Star; podcasts such as Pan Society and Modern Animism; and interviews with NITV Radio, the Australian Defence Force Army Podcast, and The Dr. Tina Ramsay Show in America, which boasts an audience of 350 million listeners.
